SEED PELLETING

Pelleting is the process of increasing the volume and weight of small, light and amorphous seeds to make them suitable for machine sowings.

PELLETING TYPES

  1.   Semi-pelleting

  2.   Full Pelleting

  3.   Encrusting

GOALS OF SEED PELLETING

  1. Make seed sowing easier.

  2. To ensure the protection of the distance between and on the rows  depending on the density of the sowing

  3. To adjust the depth of the seed sowing and to ensure that pelleted seeds settle on the soil

  4. To make seed less use

  5. Prevent high-value seeds from being wasted

  6. Protect the seed from harmful insects and harmful microorganisms in the soil

  7. Provide controlled water uptake during germination
